Refund Policy (Bid & Project System)
1. Bidding Fees
Charges for "Bid Packages" or "Premium Bid Status" are consumed upon purchase. These are generally non-refundable unless a technical error on the Platform prevented the use of the bid.
2. Project Escrow Refunds
- Before Project Start: If a Client cancels a project before a Freelancer has been hired or started work, a 100% refund of the project price is issued (less administrative processing fees).
- Incomplete Work: If a Freelancer fails to deliver milestones, the Client may request a refund from the Escrow.
3. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a Client and a Freelancer:
- Both parties must attempt to resolve the issue through the Platform's messaging system.
- If unsuccessful, Autônomo's Arbitration Team will review the project brief and submitted files.
- Autônomo's decision on the distribution of escrowed funds (Full, Partial, or No Refund) is final.
4. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be returned to the user's original payment method (Multicaixa, Bank Transfer, or Credit Card) within 10–15 business days.
